Liverpool doctor says Jones will be out for several weeks After the eye pain was more severe than expected.

Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones may be out of sight for a while. After the club’s chief medical officer said his injury was more serious than expected.

The 20-year-old was injured in an accidental collision in training ahead of the Reds’ Champions League win over Atletico Madrid. at the beginning of last month.  So he won’t come back anytime soon.

After missing the Premier League game against West Ham and the England Under-21s game, the club have finally spoken about Jones’ injury.

The club’s doctor. Jim Moxon, told the club’s official website.“It was a strange injury and it was very unfortunate. But it is important to emphasize that there is no permanent damage and that his vision will not be affected beyond the recovery period.

We must ensure caution is important. We have to give it time to heal and we can’t speed it up. So he won’t come back anytime soon.”
