The Blaugrana are preparing to celebrate the club’s 125th anniversary on November 29, and they plan to invite a number of famous players, including Messi.

Barcelona were originally planning to host the big day at the new Spotify Camp Nou, but renovations to the stadium have been push back to April 2025, but the Blaugrana are still holding their 125th anniversary celebrations on the same date.

The club aims to showcase the involvement of several prominent figures from its rich history, whose contributions will be essential in making the event memorable.

One name that immediately comes to mind when thinking of Barcelona’s icons is Lionel Messi. The club is eager to involve him, especially considering the dramatic circumstances surrounding his departure. 

Although Barcelona are planning to send Messi an invitation to return to the club for the first time since his departure in the summer of 2021, there is no guarantee that the Argentine forward will return, with current club Inter Miami Promotion ufabet set to play in the MLS playoffs. 

However, the Blaugrana will ask Messi to send a video message to be play at the club’s 125th anniversary gala if he fails to attend.
